The Voice of Experience

Empty Suit

Can we all finally join together, regardless of our political views, and agree that King Hussein Obama the First is a dumb ass?  Check out his later blunder when he tried to use the Spanish language to welcome a group to the White House to celebrate the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo.  http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gBSZDYPSPmV5uKYPGLMq21s9vv4QD97VNU100  Instead of saying the three little words, Cinco de Mayo, which means the Fifth of May, this buffoon said Cinco de Cuatro, which means "five of four."  I guess this July 3rd the King will welcome a group of illegal immigrants to the White House to celebrate American's Independence Day, otherwise known as Four of Three.

Of course every American learns in grade school that Cinco de Mayo is a holiday in Mexico.  And while most people probably forget over time that Cinico de Mayo commemorates the defeat of the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, pretty much everybody with an IQ over ten remembers the name of the holiday.  I can only guess that Obama must have been stoned the day his class learned about Cinco de Mayo so maybe we shouldn't be so rough on him.

Now for all you liberals out there who love to criticize all things Bush, you might be interested to know that our former president spoke Spanish.  But in the interest of fairness, we should note that the useful idiots in the media and language experts pointed out that Bush's grasp of the Spanish language was far from perfect.  Consider this article from the blog of Edward Trimnell, author of Why You Need a Foreign Language & How to Learn One.  http://www.edwardtrimnell.com/bush_spanish.htm  You don't have to read very much to find Trimnell's criticism of Bush's accent and his general comment that Bush should speak the language better because he spent years in Texas, a state with numerous Spanish speaking residents.  And our old friends at the New York Times got into the act by describing Bush's Spanish as "halting to converstational."http://www.nytimes.com/2002/06/03/us/white-house-letter-bilingual-so-to-speak-but-halting.html  I'm sure their article criticizing Obama's Spanish flub is in today's edition.

It was an axiom of the useful idiots in the media that President Bush was stupid so it shouldn't surprise anybody that Obama will take no criticism for his inability to say even three words of Spanish without screwing up while Bush got ripped even though he knew enough Spanish to actually use the language in conversation.  And certainly the savants at the New York Times aren't going to point out that the King, who was born in a foreign country and lived for several years in another, should know another language.  Even Obama admits that it's embarrassing that he doesn't speak another language.  http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/07/11/politics/fromtheroad/entry4254480.shtml

As is typical of an empty suit like King Hussein Obama, he points out that while he only knows about 15 words of Spanish; his accent "has always been good."  So in other words, as long as somebody else provides him the proper words, he can deliver them so well that the average listener would think he was native Spanish speaker.  Is there anybody left out there who thinks Obama even has a clue what the words he reads off the Tele-Prompt-Ter mean?

  1. Hopefully those Mexicans who were invited to the white house were not infected with the swine flu.

Bush's' grasp of english was far from perfect, do we really need to get into his spanish blunders. The only spanish conversation Bush could speak would be something along the lines of, "Dejar mi granja antes de que yo disparar usted !!"
